Hitting a Home Run with Sandusky High School Michigan Senior Portraits Photographer.
As a photographer with a passion for capturing the unique stories of high school seniors, I get to travel all over the country. One of my favorite stops is right here in Michigan! Recently, I had the pleasure of heading to Sandusky to create a special "SPORTRAIT" session for a member of the class of 2026. This young man's love for baseball was undeniable, and we knew we had to get on the field to create some epic images.

The energy was fantastic as we started our session. He was a natural in front of the camera, and it was clear how much the sport means to him. The field provided the perfect backdrop, from the pitcher's mound to the dugout. The sun was just right, creating that beautiful ball season sun light we all love, and every shot felt like a celebration of his dedication and talent. These aren't just photos; they're a visual representation of his senior year and a sport that has been a huge part of his life.
To make the session even more personal, we had a special guest star join us: his dad, who also happens to be his long-time 3rd base running coach! Seeing the two of them interact and capturing their bond was a truly heartwarming moment. It was a great reminder that senior portraits are not just about the student but also about the people who have supported them along the way. Capturing these genuine connections is what makes my job so rewarding.
I love creating unique and meaningful Michigan Senior Portraits that families will cherish forever.
I'm excited to announce that I'll be back in Michigan at the end of September and have a few openings for senior portrait sessions. If you're a high school senior or know one who wants to create some memories that truly reflect who they are, let's connect!
A Pink Mitt and a Family Legacy with Michigan Senior Portraits Photographer in thumb.
The baseball photos from our Sandusky High School session were made even more special by a unique detail: his custom pink mitt with his initials on it. It’s not every day you see a mitt like that, and it added a fantastic personal touch to the whole session. This isn’t just a piece of equipment; it’s a symbol of his individuality and passion for the game. Capturing him with it on the field, with the sun setting behind him, truly felt like we were freezing a moment in time that perfectly encapsulates his journey as a player and a young man.
From Baby Pictures to Senior Portraits
This wasn’t just another senior portrait session for me; it was the continuation of a beautiful story. I first photographed this young man when he was just three days old. To be able to now stand on a baseball field and capture him as a senior is incredibly meaningful. Watching him grow up from a tiny newborn to a dedicated athlete has been a huge privilege. These photographs bridge the gap between his earliest moments and his future, creating a powerful family heirloom that I am honored to have been a part of.
